What I Really Mean Is...

"I love you."

I will fight for you.
I will bleed for you.
I will live for you.
I will die for you.
I will cheer for you.
I will cry for you.
I will laugh with you.
Hell, I will laugh at you.

I will protect you.
I will hold you in my heart.  Deeply.
I will remember the little details.
I will be grateful when you do the same.
I will do my best to pull you up when you're down.
I will not be content to leave you alone when I know you need me.
I will not push myself on you when you really DO need to be alone.
I will understand, in some way, why you feel as you do.

I will not confuse being in love with loving.
I will let you in as much as I can.
I will give you time and space when you need it.
I will give you hell when you deserve it.
I will thank you for returning the favor.
I will try not to ask you for anything I don't need.
I will try to give you everything I possibly can.
I will be a total sap.

I will appreciate your help.
I will never stop being sorry when I fail you.
I will hold you until you stop crying.
I will hug you every chance I get.
I will call you out on your stupidity.
I will expect you to call me out on mine.
I will not harm you or your soul.
I will expect my soul to be safe with you.

"I love you."  With every bit of my heart.
You're my friend.
And that means the world and more to me.
